Na tarde desta quinta-feira (16), foram divulgados os indicados ao Emmy Awards, que é conhecido como o Oscar da televisão. A apresentação dos concorrentes foi feita pela atriz Uzo Aduba, de Orange is The New Black, e pela apresentadora do reality show So You Think You Can Dance, Cat Deeley.
A série Game of Thrones, que é um dos maiores sucessos da atualidade, lidera a premiação, concorrendo em 24 categorias. American Horror Story: Freak Show não fica muito atrás e compete em 19 indicações. Das séries de comédia, Transparent é que mais aparece nas categorias, sendo indicada em 11 delas.
A 67ª edição do prêmio vai acontecer no dia 20 de setembro, no Microsoft Theater, em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos, e terá a apresentação de Andy Samberg.
